Le Creuset Crafts Even More Stylish Pokemon Cookware

The recent Pokemon generations’ focus on cooking continues to manifest with real-world brand collaborations. World-renowned cookware brand Le Creuset is following up their Pokemon collab from July with another set of colorful cocottes. This time around, the items are less globally limited, and focus on the first generation stars Pikachu and Eevee.

The upcoming collaboration includes more serving ware, including two large mugs and a set of four bowls. The mugs are adorably shaped and colored after a Poke Ball and a Great Ball, and can be used for both drinking and cooking. The set of four bowls follows suit: two are standard, round bowls, one red and one blue with a Poke Ball and Great Ball pattern embossed into the base, respectively. The other two bowls are a bit more special: one is yellow and shaped like Pikachu’s head, and the other is beige and shaped like an Eevee’s head. The cookware follows suit, first with a cute set of two mini cocottes. One is a yellow ombre with a yellow Pikachu silhouette on the lid, and the other is beige with a cream-colored Eevee silhouette on the lid. Both have Poke Ball patterns running along the sides.

There’s a larger, 18 cm cast iron pot that is essentially a sleek, black recolor of the previous set’s yellow cocotte, complete with Pikachu’s tail printed on the side and a metallic Poke Ball design on the lid knob. Not all the new cookware is just a shiny coloration of previous cookware, however. The biggest item in this lineup is a 22 cm “signature round” cocotte with Pikachu’s silhouette embossed onto the lid. There’s no kettle this time around, but the running Pikachu silhouettes from last set’s kettle return on a stylish gray 20 cm enamel on steel casserole pot.

If these cookware items have you itching to whip up some Galarian curry or Paldean sandwiches, there’s some good news—if you’re located in one of 11 countries. Besides Japan, these goods will be released by Le Creuset in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, and Thailand on November 6, 2024, with pre-orders open from Friday, October 25 until Monday, October 28. While importing is always an option for fans located outside of these lucky 11 countries, it’s also worth waiting and seeing if Le Creuset will not only expand the global reaches of this multi-part collaboration, but if a third set of fun cookware will crop up down the line, too.
