Life is Strange: Double Exposure Will Have a Sequel, Leaks Suggest

It has been claimed that copies of Life is Strange: Double Exposure are in the wild just days before it’s set to hit the market, and images and gameplay have started surfacing online. In one leak, the game’s ending is unravelled in full, and while I won’t spoil the details here, the direct suggestion of the images is that there will be a sequel to Double Exposure.

Back Again

Life is Strange: Double Exposure is a return to form for Max Caulfield, who re-appears in the franchise for the first time since 2015’s Life is Strange kickstarted the series. In this entirely new outing, Caulfield is brought back to life by Deck Nine, who previously created and released Life is Strange: True Colors.

This is a new and original story with nods to past games, and the fact that Max is back is pulling players worldwide back into the fray. In 2015, Don’t Nod produced the episodic ‘Life is Strange’ and broke the hearts of gamers everywhere as they explored an emotional if at times angsty storyline.

On Reddit, a particular post surfaced breaking down the game’s ending, and there’s a shot and a walkthrough that clearly indicates a sequel is planned for Double Exposure. It was also revealed that it ends in much the same way as the first game, with the players being forced to make an ultimate decision that instantly directs the game’s ending.
