First aid by police may have saved the life of a man who attempted to smash his way into a Geraldton home but sliced his arm badly.
Geraldton police say a 32-year-old man attended an address on Brand Highway, Tarcoola Beach on Saturday night and was refused entry because of previous behaviour.
