Man wins million-dollar jackpot at Thunder Valley
(FOX40.COM) — A man is now a millionaire after hitting the jackpot at Thunder Valley Casino Resort on Tuesday.
The casino announced that the lucky jackpot winner, named Allen Kessler, became $1.2 million richer after playing the Buffalo Power Pay gaming slot.
“We are thrilled to see Mr. Kessler hit such a large jackpot,” Thunder Valley General Manager Dawn Clayton said in a press release. “It is always exciting when our guests win big, and this incredible jackpot is a testament to the exceptional gaming experiences we offer at Thunder Valley. We look forward to celebrating many more wins with our valued guests in the future.”
Kessler has been a “loyal patron” of Thunder Valley for over 10 years, attending poker tournaments and playing slot machines, according to the casino.
“I am very loyal to this casino because they have the best poker room, the best tournaments, and the best staff in the country,” Kessler said in a press release. “I have been very lucky at Thunder Valley over the years, and I love coming here.”
These casinos are the closest to Sacramento
Thunder Valley in Lincoln, located 30 miles east of Sacramento, has 3,500 slot machines, 100 table games, a live poker room and a bingo room.
The casino resort also has 18 restaurants and bars and a 17-story hotel. Thunder Valley also has live performers throughout the year at its live entertainment facility The Venue.
