Marvel Rivals Spring Festival Event Introduces New Rocket League-Like Gamemode

Marvel Rivals has announced the new Spring Festival Event, which introduces a new game mode and a new Star-Lord skin.

The announcement came via the Games X (formerly Twitter) account, where it was announced that the Spring Festival would take place on January 23, 2025.

What’s in the Sping Festival Event

As announced, the Marvel Rivals Spring Festival event will include a new limited-timed mode called “Clash of Dancing Lions”, which will be a soccer-like event where teams need to score goals.

On initial inspection of the new trailer, which you can see below, the arena looks somewhat similar to that of Rocket League.

Also announced as a part of the Spring Event is a new ‘Gallery Card Customization’ Event, named “Fortnite & Colors.”

Marvel Rivals say that players will be able to claim unique rewards during the event, including a free Star-Lord costume, nameplate and more.

“May the golden lion’s mane guide your fortune and bring you strength this season. Join the celebration now and let the magic of the Spring Festival unfold!” reads the announcement.
