Post-apocalypse survival, matching game Merge Survival Wasteland is set to celebrate its one-and-a-half anniversary. And it’s not just the usual crop of events that you can look forward to in order to mark the occasion, but a little bit more besides that!

To start, you’ll be able to grab some digital goods and coupons within Merge Survival itself to grab some hot deals. But it’s not just that the anniversary is being marked. While nobody is going to call Merge Survival: Wasteland some kind of revolutionary piece of speculative science fiction, I do think the fact that it takes a more nuanced view of the post-apocalypse is quite interesting. Compared to something like, say, State of Survival which seems determined to fit the zombie prepper fantasy, this is almost a more thoughtful take on the genre.
