RICHFIELD, Minn. (FOX 9) – Search efforts continued Friday morning for a man who disappeared while delivering pizzas at work Tuesday night.

Shuefaub Xiong reported missing in Apple Valley

The backstory

Sheufaub Xiong, 42, hasn’t been seen since Tuesday night when he disappeared during his shift at Domino’s in Apple Valley. Police said Xiong arrived at work but did not make four deliveries that were scheduled around 6 p.m.

Police said Xiong may have been in Richfield around 6:45 p.m. using another person’s phone in attempts to contact his family.

Police searched the areas of the missing deliveries, but did not locate Xiong or his vehicle. He was driving a red Toyota Camry with the license plate CWT-545, according to the press release.

Search party on Friday

What’s new?

The Apple Valley Police Department said on Friday afternoon that it confirmed the last known sighting of Xiong was at the Richfield Target on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

Police also say they believe Xiong was in Golden Valley after leaving his job on the same day.

Investigators added that searching into his phone location, bank records and social media accounts have not provided any new information.

Law enforcement officials say they have not received any reports or sightings of Xiong or his vehicle since he was last seen in Richfield.

Family members and volunteers resumed their search efforts Friday morning, focusing on Richfield and Edina.

The plan for the search is to focus on parks, bodies of water, large parking lots where Xiong’s vehicle might have been abandoned, and distributing flyers to local businesses, according to a social media post.

A Facebook group has been created to help track efforts in the search. Another search party gathered on Thursday to check Xiong’s last known whereabouts.

Police said Xiong is 5-foot-8, around 215 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Apple Valley police said anyone with information regarding Xiong’s whereabouts should call 952-953-2700.

What they’re saying

The family is concerned that the frigid temperatures expected this weekend pose an additional danger for Xiong.

“We’re lost, we’re confused,” said Nischa Xiong, his sister. “You know, we’re scared. We hope that he’s okay.”

Volunteers were given fliers with Xiong’s photo to distribute around Richfield and neighboring communities.

I feel the urge to get out and go help….” said volunteer Chris Axelson. “There’s a lot of parks in Richfield. There’s bodies of water. So, just go check them out and drive around, see if there’s anything unusual.”

Reward for safe return

Xiong’s family announced Friday that they are offering a $20,000 reward for his safe return.
