Modern Warfare 3’s has a Glitched Challenge Problem That Could Torpedo the Playerbase
Call of Duty is making some bold and ambitious moves and the gaming community has mixed feelings about these creative decisions. The latest game mode is called Get Higher and the fans have high expectations about it but it is not working as intended.
Patches and updates paired with a live service game are an inseparable package deal but this one will certainly get on the nerves of the gaming community. Players worked hard to earn the cosmetic items as a reward and being locked out of their reach due to an issue is unacceptable.
The Newest Call of Duty Game Mode Is Sending the Players Into a Riot
Activision is making great efforts to appeal to the gaming community by developing different game modes. Call of Duty players got their first glimpse of the Get Higher map and the fans are excited to take on this course and compete with the rest of the player base. Unfortunately, despite having worked on it for quite some time, there are some kinks that the developers failed to iron out.
The developers are actively working on a patch to fix these issues and the fans are not thrilled about it.
Ever since the gaming community has uncovered new information about this game mode through data mining, the fans has been looking forward to it. The parkour gameplay is reminiscent to the Ghostrunner franchise and it is a nice change of pace from the traditional competitive shooter battle royale matches.
It can be frustrating to do all of these difficult and tedious tasks and not be able to unlock what was promised. Wasted efforts like this can dissuade the rest of the players from playing this game mode, especially in its broken state, perhaps the developers can take more time to look into it before it escalates.
Modern Warfare 3 Players Are Not Happy With the Get Higher Game Mode
Live service games are a pain to work on and the developers need to keep an open eye to ensure everything is working up to standard. The gaming community needs to learn by now that this will always be a thing and there may never be a permanent solution around it.
The gaming community being annoyed is understandable and the developers should meet their expectations at least halfway. The problem here is when the fans with unrealistic expectations are way beneath the final result, it creates a rift between these two parties and will result in more unpleasantries.
Perhaps Activision will charge this to experience and will release these new game modes in a more polished state in the future. Efforts on both sides are wasted and it is best to be patient with the developers as they deal with the complexities of game development.
Modern Warfare 3 has had a less-than-stellar reception and this new game mode could have turned the situation around. Regardless, the developers are working to fix this issue and the fans can just wait until it is resolved.
