Most Diabolical, Toxic Trait of Call of Duty Fans Infects Black Ops 6

Call of Duty is one of the biggest gaming franchises of all time. However, that doesn’t rule it out from having a toxic gaming community. Like any other multiplayer title, this game too suffered from toxic behaviors from its fans. Trash-talking is quite normal in games like these, but the way the community sometimes behaves, is astounding.

If you play well you get thrashed, if you don’t you get thrashed yet again. Even sometimes players call you out because you have just used a particular weapon that the community doesn’t like. Black Ops 6 has some “anti-toxicity” tools that ban people for using derogatory language. Initially, it was banning people for no reason, but now this tool makes a lot of sense, after all this toxic behavior from the community.

Recently, a dedicated Call of Duty fan named Paulkdragon vented out his frustrations over a Reddit post. He has stated that no matter which weapon you are using or if you are winning or losing, you are going to get called out by the toxic people in the game.

For instance, if you use an Assault Rifle, fellow players will call you a noob. This is pretty baseless because Assault rifles are the default weapons any player can use in Call of Duty, so there shouldn’t be any problem in using them.

On the other hand, if you use an SMG or a Shotgun, the toxic community of CoD is going to tag you “sweat” or “trash” respectively. These two weapons are extremely effective in close encounters. So, why can’t a player use these guns whenever needed?

Now coming to snipers, if you are fond of using Marksman rifles, players will tell you to use a proper Sniper rifle, because God knows why they don’t consider Marksman rifles as proper Sniper rifles. On the other hand, if you try to use a “proper” Sniper rifle, then another group of the CoD community will mark you as a “camper.”

The same goes for melee weapons or Pistols as well. If you manage to kill someone with a melee weapon, players will tell you to use a gun. Now, if you use a pistol, which is a gun by the way, people will rush at you to tell you to use a “real gun.” What’s the problem with this community?

Winning or losing – you are still gonna get called out in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

The community even lashes out at the players for even winning or losing the game. When you are losing the matches repeatedly, the toxic community will tell you to “get better.” Now, you won’t have any peace of mind after hearing that advice because if you really get better and start winning your matches constantly, those same people will ask you to “get a life.” Seriously?

Actually, the people who are constantly complaining in the game are the ones who haven’t even managed to build any skill except their toxic behavior. All they can do is point fingers at others instead of pointing the crosshair at in-game enemies. However, to do that properly you need dedication towards that particular game. So, all they do is trash talk. And this community might be the reason Black Ops 6 players are getting voice-chat bans for no reason.

The game is already overly infested with cheaters and hackers. Now Activision needs to take the necessary steps to tackle this toxic community of Call of Duty if it wants its game to sustain itself in the longer run, or else, people are going to leave the game very soon.
