The Last of Us Part 3 is on everybody’s mind right now, especially after what transpired in the previous part. Fans of the games are curious about what to expect next from Neil Druckmann and his team.

Druckmann might have the perfect opportunity soon to set up the next part with a very simple step that would enable him to give the ending people wanted. He could also expand on the second part’s ending in order to give room for the next part.

Neil Druckmann Can Set Up The Next Part With Ease

The Last of Us Part 2 was criticized for a loose ending since Ellie lets Abby go. The game left a lot of loose ends which were not well knitted and left fans wanting for more. However, the time has come to make amends and give the fans the ending they deserve whilst also setting up The Last of Us Part 3.

Druckmann is also involved with HBO’s The Last of Us and could use season 2 of the show as a medium to set up the next part. He could elaborate on the ending and give people more than what The Last of Us Part 2 had to offer. It would be nice to see him explore more within the story.

This Last of Us Part 3 needs to be set up in a better way than how its predecessor left it to be. He does realise that The Last of Us Part 2 failed to offer a strong end to the story, and it needs to be rectified. The only and best way to do that is via the show.

People are still confused about why Elli lets Abby go even after what she did to Joel, and Abby’s arc too did not really come full circle. Season 2 of the show could act as an empty slate in which these aspects of the story could be justified by telling the audience more than what was stressed upon in the game.

The Last of Us Part 3 Deserves A Better Setup

The Last of Us Part 3 has not yet gotten the setup it deserves, and fans are still much confused about the second part’s ending. Structurally, the narrative became a little chaotic, and it needs to be amended.

Druckmann should see the TV series as an opportunity to explore the story further and give people more than what they got from the game since that is the only way to generate hype for the next part as of now.
