The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller has finally received an official, substantial discount for Black Friday. It only took seven-plus years for it to happen, but if you’ve exercised extreme patience, you have finally been rewarded. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is on sale for $20 off at Best Buy, dropping the price from $70 down to $50. Needless to say, this is the best discount ever on the official Switch controller, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see this offer sell out before Black Friday sales end.

You can also save $20 on a pair of Neon Red and Blue Joy-Con Controllers. And if you’re in the market for a Nintendo Switch console this holiday, Best Buy is offering a wild deal on the Nintendo Switch holiday bundle. Well, two of them. You can get the Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Kart bundle for only $275 or the regular Nintendo Switch Mario Kart bundle for only $225.

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller remains our top pick on our best Switch controllers list all these years later. It’s significantly better for docked play than slotting two controllers in the Joy-Con Grip. It also has chunkier face buttons, full-size analog sticks, and larger triggers.

The Switch Pro Controller is equipped with Nintendo’s HD rumble, gyro sensors for motion controls, and has an NFC reader to tap Nintendo’s Amiibo figures. Since it’s a Bluetooth controller, the Pro Controller also works great on PC, Mac, mobile, Steam Deck, and several other devices. It’s a great all-around controller that rivals the Xbox Wireless Controller in terms of ergonomics.

You can get the 2024 holiday bundles for $75 off, dropping the price of the Switch OLED with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership to $275 (was $350). The base model Switch bundle with Mario Kart and Switch Online is on sale for only $225. These are the best Nintendo Switch deals ever offered by a major retailer.

The cozy sim Animal Crossing: New Horizons rarely receives discounts, so this $20 price cut is definitely worth checking out. This is also the first time the remastered collection of the first two Pikmin games has been discounted, so snag Pikmin 1 + 2 for $30 before it’s gone.
