No Man’s Sky: Aquarius Update To Add Fishing and Deep-Sea Diving
Hello Games has just revealed what’s coming next to No Man’s Sky – fishing. In the Aquarius update, users will see a plethora of changes following on from the new water ecosystem introduced in Worlds Part I in July. Today, you can install this update and take advantage of new fishing mechanics, as well as deep-sea diving, boat-based exploration, new recipes, quests, and much more.
It’s another super-sized No Man’s Sky update.
Keep On Delivering
The next free update in No Man’s Sky has been revealed as ‘Aquarius’, and those with a passion for water-based activities will be enamoured by it. Instead of digging through the vast expanse of an infinite universe, you can now land on a planet, get your rod out, and start fishing, either alone or with friends.
Hello Games has added a wealth of marine creatures to the game, as well as new recipes and fresh ways to explore the gargantuan world. Users can now build and deploy an ‘Exo-Skiff’, a platform that floats over water and has on-board storage.
It has much more depth than just a bait-and-catch mechanic, though. Players can seek out fresh challenges and find long-lost secrets by reeling in relics and messages in bottles, which adds a little spice to the feature that some might think is mundane.
With the new ocean elements comes deep-sea exploration, and to succeed at that activity, players can now craft and upgrade diving equipment, allowing them to dig deeper into the trillions of planets in No Man’s Sky than ever before. And of course, No Man’s Sky: Aquarius, which is technically known as Patch 5.10, features stacks of upgrades, improvements, and quality-of-life tweaks.
It’s another stunning – and free – update from Hello Games.
