Now, Patch 7 isn’t the end for Baldur’s Gate 3

Last year’s smash hit, Baldur’s Gate 3, has a massive update that hit PCs, though it’s been delayed for Mac and console players, recently. Many thought this was the end of the game’s content run, but as turn out, it’s not.

Larian Studios head of publishing, Michael Douse, took to Twitter to confirm more content is to come, but refused to elaborate, saying there are “things we’ve said we’ll do that are still coming, and the chefs must cook.”

Frankly, Larian not dropping Baldur’s Gate 3 is a bit shocking. Back in March, studio founder Swen Vincke revealed it was planning on leaving the Baldur’s Gate and wider D&D brand behind, canceling the DLC, leaving it in the hands of D&D owner Wizards of the Coast, and making its own IP, IGN reports.

It isn’t clear if Douse is speaking about the DLC or miscellaneous content features that the studio promised, only for them to never be introduced. We also don’t know what the studio has planned for its next game, though, we know it probably enter early access first.
