Old School RuneScape lets you take on the Royal Titans in new update

• Old School RuneScape is getting a major new update with the Royal Titans
• Take on the fire and ice regent giants to gain powerful new rewards
• Alternative tasks can also nab you Slayer XP with a new Slayer Alternative Task

It’s Old School RuneScape update time! But what have Jagex got for us this time? How about not one but two bosses? Still not impressed? Well, how about fighting them both at the same time? That’s your challenge with the new Royal Titans update, and it’s a giant problem to resolve, coming alongside even more content to celebrate OSR’s 12th anniversary!

You’ll take part in a three-way battle between Ice and Fire giants in this new update. Brandr, the Fire queen, seeks to expand the territory of her fire giants and has arrived at the Asgarnian Ice Cave to do just that. But the ice giants are retaliating with their own regent, Eldric the King of Frost. And guess what? You’re stuck in the middle!

Taking on this battle either alone or with another player in duos you’ll need to wield different gear to exploit elemental weaknesses and end this Promethean-level feud. But defeating these two titans offers some enticing loot with the Twinflame Staff and the Giantsoul Amulet, the latter of which can teleport you instantly to any of the three giant bosses.

But that’s not all! Taking down these Royal Titans will also net you Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages and a Fire & Ice giant pet of your very own. You can also build up your accrue slayer XP with the Slayer Alternative Task, letting you gain slayer XP while bossing on any fire giant or ice giant task.
