BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — An on-duty NYPD officer was arrested on Saturday night in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.

The arrest happened at around 9:10 p.m.

Michael Cruz, 29, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident without reporting.

The NYPD declined to provide additional information regarding the arrest.
