One Game Mechanic in Space Marine 2 Everyone Finds Difficult is a Piece of Cake for Bloodborne and Sekiro Veterans

There’s no doubt that the Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2‘s player base has been pleased of late. Developer Saber Interactive has overhauled most of the weapons in the title after nerfs saw the title get review-bombed to oblivion. The community even joined hands to fight off new in-game operations.

However, things are starting to heat up again. Recently, there’s been a surge of complaints against Space Marine 2‘s parry system, which players find to be too difficult to comprehend. But this system is nothing but a piece of cake for Bloodborne and Sekiro players who’ve handled the worst in Hidetaka Miyazaki’s creations!

Space Marine 2 Community Believes Parry System is Busted

The majority of the Tryanids in Space Marine 2 rely on melee attacks to fight their enemies. While many might try to strike an enemy before they can attack, facing so many Tyranids at once can lead to damage from all sides. Players can try dodging but parrying incoming attacks is the best way to turn the tide in their favor.

Parrying attacks in Space Marine 2 is undoubtedly one of the best ways to deal with enemies and can help you lead a steady supply of health. However, it doesn’t come without its own issues. For parrying attacks, you need to master your timings; otherwise, you’ll fail hard.

For hardcore players, that shouldn’t be an issue if they’re putting consistent hours into the game. However, for casual players, learning how to parry can prove to be quite troublesome. Over on the game’s official subreddit, one player had to go out of their way and craft a guide on how one can perfectly parry attacks in Space Marine 2.

However, if you’re someone who has played FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Bloodborne and Sekiro, regardless of whether you’re a casual or hardcore player, you won’t sweat parrying attacks in Space Marine 2.

In Bloodborne, parrying comes down to firearms, and precise time is required to reel enemies during their attacks. It’s truly a test of quick reflexes and understanding the enemy patterns. On the other hand, Sekiro‘s parry system is integral to the game since it requires split-second decisions to block and counter enemies using katanas.

It isn’t just limited to Bloodborne and Seikro; the majority of the other Souslike games, such as Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and Lies of Pi, feature parrying systems that are tough to master. The Space Marine 2 community should be thankful that Saber hasn’t gone to those lengths to increase difficulty in the game.

Space Marine 2 has Pushed the Warhammer 40k Series to New Heights

It’s not a perfect game by any means, but still, Space Marine 2 brings an experience that you’ll never forget. No one could’ve ever thought that the title would manage to achieve the heights it has. It’s success has marked a brand new era for the franchise.

Even though Warhammer 40k has given us some incredible games over the years, none of them have managed to gain a player base like the Space Marine sequel. On its arrival, it became the fastest-selling title for Saber Interactive, which is the same studio that has given us games such as World War Z and Jurassic Park Survival.

While it’s great to see the game getting the attention it truly deserves, it must also maintain the new standards set by Saber. The studio is already planning for the future successor, so it’s not afraid of what lies ahead.

The game is all set to receive brand-new updates in December, and the developer has even laid down a roadmap. It’s going to be fascinating to see how this title ends up shaping next year.

With that said, do you think parrying is difficult in Space Marine 2? Let us know in the comments below.
