There is one very underappreciated game by Rocksteady that would have done wonders had it been released last time. Sadly, however, this was not the game, and the game is now considered one of the forgotten relics of the past.

Rocksteady Needs To Bring Back The Forgotten Relic After Batman and The Suicide Squad

Robocop Rogue City, a front-person shooter that was released last year, is a similar game to the one made by Rocksteady back in 2006. Robocop Rogue City was well received by the audience; this proves that the world is now ready for such games, which was not the case back in 2006.

Rocksteady released a game back in 2006 called Urban Chaos: Riot Response, which was for 6th generation consoles, including PS2 and Xbox 360. It was overlooked at the time and did not receive the acclaim it deserved. It got a metacritic score of 72 on the Xbox and 73 on the PS2.

The game got pretty average reviews, but that era is gone, and the game still stands the test of time as many people have only started to realise that it is one of the most underappreciated shooters from the mid-2000s that needs a remaster.

The time has changed now, and Rocksteady released a fresh game this year, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but what it really should be doing is getting back to its roots and putting efforts into reviving the cult classic Urban Chaos: Riot Response.

Rocksteady Needs To Redeem Itself

Rocksteady’s latest game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, did not too well in the market, which also left a lasting mark on the reputation of the developer.

However, its earlier cult classic game surfaced recently when people started claiming it to be one of the most underrated and underappreciated first-person shooter games of its time.

This recent hype presents itself as an opportunity for Rocksteady to work towards giving the world a better version of that game, which by extension would also help it redeem itself with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Rocksteady is in dire need of redemption after its latest game failed to do too well; however, not all is lost for it this year as Urban Chaos: Riot Response is now getting the attention it deserves, proving that the game truly stands the test of time and is worth giving a second look at.
