Peter Dutton has conceded that the Liberal Party has work to do to improve its standing in WA amid concerns from colleagues that not enough ground has been made up ahead of the looming Federal election.

The Opposition leader started a five-day tour of WA on Friday with a radio interview, a visit to a local supermarket with Curtin candidate Tom White and a pledge to go “up to Collie” as he stuck with east coast-centric talking points on energy policies.
