Palworld players advised not to load multiplayer amid reports of Xbox saves being lost
A major Palworld update has introduced significant issues on Xbox consoles.
Update v0.2.0.6, which launched for Steam last week and adds the game’s first raid boss, was released today for Xbox.
But following its release, developer Pocketpair said it had confirmed an issue causing save data to not load correctly.
Amid reports of player progress being wiped, the studio further advised users not to attempt loading multiplayer data while it works on a fix.
“In the Xbox version v0.2.0.6 that was released today, we have confirmed an issue where multiplayer player save data is not being loaded correctly when multiplayer save data from an older version is loaded,” Pocketpair said.
“This issue is currently being investigated by the development team. In the meantime, we apologize but please do not try to load multiplayer data on Xbox.”
Pocketpair has also said that it’s aware of an issue where eggs can’t be placed inside the incubator following today’s update.
“We apologize for this inconvenience. The problem can be resolved by rebuilding the incubator. We plan to fix this in the next few days.”
In a recent interview, Pocketpair boss Takuro Mizobe said the company’s in talks to bring Palworld to additional platforms.
