Perth traffic: Crashes on Roe and Tonkin highways cause peak-hour delays

A number of crashes have caused havoc on the roads as Perth’s peak-hour traffic gears up this morning.

An accident on Roe Highway southbound has traffic banked up in both directions.

Tow trucks are on the scene just after Ranford Road in Jandakot.

A crash on Tonkin Highway northbound in Maddington has caused a huge traffic logjam.

Main Roads WA has urged motorists to be patient, with the accident at Kelvin Road causing traffic to be be heavy on approach to Mills Road West.

Meanwhile, a breakdown on Kwinana Freeway southbound at the Rowley Road exit in Aubin Grove is causing some delays but traffic in the area is generally clear.
