Perth weather: Strong cold front to bring gusty showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday
Perth is in for a wild and stormy Tuesday with a severe weather warning has issued for much of the South West.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) expects a strong cold front to produce gusty showers and isolated thunderstorms in the morning, impacting many areas between Perth and Albany.
Strong winds averaging 50kmh to 60kmh are possible over the region in the late morning, extending to the Lower West, Great Southern, and South Coastal districts, with the Perth metropolitan area not excluded.

Expect the blustery conditions to be felt over Bunbury, Busselton, Mandurah, Manjimup, Margaret River and Mount Barker.
In some cases, damaging wind gusts of 90kmh could be experienced.

BOM expects conditions to ease in the late afternoon and into the evening — and reminds residents of the Southwest this weather is typical for the time of year.
Perth is expected to reach a maximum of 22C, with the potential of 10 to 25mm of rain.
