Play Together announces Lunar New Year celebration for the Year of the Snake

As we head towards the end of January it seems only natural that the next big calendar event for many people will inevitably be Lunar New Year. Little surprise then that Haegin’s social gaming platform Play Together is set to celebrate in turn with an event to mark the Year of the Snake!

What can you expect? Well, there will be plenty to do as the rice cakes of the Full Moon Rice Cake Workshop have abruptly transformed into monsters. You’ll need to aid the owner in rebuilding the destroyed workshop and retrieving the missing rice cakes. Doing so will let you acquire a variety of exclusive cosmetics.

Of course, you’ll also need to get rid of the Rice Cake Monsters themselves, using your trust pick-axe as you hunt them down around the Plaza Area, the Camping Ground and the Downtown Korea Travel Center. Defeating them will net you the Rice Cake Dough as a reward, which will let you nab even more rewards such as the Soft and Chewy Name Tag, Rice Cake Workshop Profile and more!

That’s not all! There’s also an attendance event for those of you checking in which gives you the opportunity to nab gifts like the Tteokguk Hairband and the Sebae motion by logging into Play Together for a total of seven days. A new coupon event in celebration of the Lunar New Year can let you acquire the Lucky Gem Box, Lizard Egg and more!

From January 30th to February 5th the Locating the Missing Rice Cake Dough event will be available for those of you who have gathered Rice Cake Dough to acquire items, including the New Year’s Money Pouch, VVIP Card Pack and more!
