Pokémon Go Tour returns next year and we’re heading to the Unova region this time

• In-person events will take place in Taiwan and Los Angeles in February
• Global event takes place later in March
• Several Shiny Pokémon from the Unova region will be available

The highly anticipated Pokémon Go Tour returns in 2025, and this time it’s all about the Unova region. Whether you’re attending one of the two in-person events in February or joining the global celebration in March, the tour promises new adventures, challenges, and Pokémon encounters inspired by Pokémon Black and White and their sequels. 

The in-person Pokémon Go Tour events run from February 21st to 23rd, with two locations to choose from. You can either enjoy the experience in New Taipei Metropolitan Park in Taiwan or at the Rose Bose Stadium in Los Angeles. Both ticketed events will bring the Unova region to life with access to seasonal themes, legendary stories, and plenty of Pokémon to catch. 

Tickets for these events are now available at discounted rates: $25 USD in LA or NT $630 in Taipei. Both events feature exclusive gameplay and ticket holders can dive into Masterwork Research to encounter Shiny Meloetta for the first time. Plus, the Egg-thusiast ticket add-on offers extra bonuses, with Shiny Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant available from 10 km Eggs during the event.

Besides that, Shiny Deerling, the Season Pokémon will also make its debut during the Unova tour. With its appearances changing based on habitats, you’ll have the chance to explore and collect them all if you’re lucky. Keep your eyes peeled for a Special Research story as well, as it involves the fate of the world and only Reshiram and Zekrom can save everyone.

If you can’t make it to the in-person events, the global Pokémon Go Tour: Unova follows soon after, on March 1st and 2nd. This worldwide event doesn’t require a ticket, so everyone can experience all the Unova-themed content for free. The only downside is you have to wait for a week after the in-person event takes place.
