Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team Arrives for Nintendo Switch This Month
Nintendo has announced that the popular GBA title Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team will arrive for Switch on August 9. Nintendo Switch Online and Expansion members will have access to this title.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is a game in which players wake up in the world of Pokemon as Pokemon themselves. They must figure out why they have been turned into this creature while befriending other Pokemon and beating ever-changing dungeons. Additionally, all Pokemon aren’t your friends, so watch out for some strong ones while you search for the dungeon’s treasures.
Better Visuals on Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is an enhanced reimagination of the GBA title and of Nintendo DS’ Blue Rescue Team. The game has received a visual upgrade for the Nintendo Switch, allowing you to experience the title with more fidelity on TV, tabletop, or handheld modes.
New Gameplay Features for Nintendo Switch
Moreover, the Nintendo Switch version introduces new gameplay features that enhance the gaming experience for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. For instance, Auto Mode allows players to progress through their journey more efficiently, with their team moving automatically with just a press of the ‘L’ button. This feature is handy when exploring dungeons, as it automatically shuts off when enemies are near, allowing for strategic gameplay. Another new feature, Unleashing Best Moves, will enable players to unleash their Pokemon’s best moves by pressing the ‘A’ button.
Other New Features
Furthermore, the Switch version introduces a new feature that allows players to make more Pokemon friends and get help when they faint. In the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, players could have a maximum of 3 members in their party. However, with the Switch version, players can add the Pokemon they encounter in a dungeon to their team, increasing the max cap to 8 team members. If a player faints, other players can rescue them, or they can rescue themselves using one of their rescue teams.
In other news, Nintendo’s Mega Multiplayer Sale is now live. Also, the court sentenced the man who threatened Nintendo to one year in prison. What are your views on the Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team? Let us know in the comments.
