Sarasota area waterfront restaurants after Hurricane Helene: Open, closed, or damaged?

Hurricane Helene caused major damage to many of the best waterfront restaurants in Sarasota and Manatee counties, including one of our region’s oldest dining destinations.

We’ve begun compiling a list of these restaurants located on or near the water, with information gathered largely from their social media, noting whether they are open, closed, or damaged from the storm or subsequent floodwaters.

You’ll find updates from restaurants in coastal communities and islands such as Siesta Key, Longboat Key, St. Armands Circle, Osprey, Nokomis, and Venice.

The restaurants are presented in alphabetical order. If you’re an owner or manager of a waterfront restaurant in South Sarasota or Charlotte County and have additional information, please email us at [email protected].
