Paramedics are attending births and gynaecology related emergencies more than once a day in country WA, sparking concerns volunteer ambulance officers are not well enough trained to respond to them.

A recent Edith Cowan University study revealed volunteers across Australia were not properly equipped to deal with emergency births.
