Several people shot in fatal Sacramento shooting, police say
(FOX40.COM) — Several people shot were struck by gunfire in a fatal shooting Sunday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Around 3 a.m., SPD said it responded to the 1500 block of Orlando Way for reports of a shooting. There, officers found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
California hospital did not tell family of patient’s death for over a year, lawsuit says
Another gunshot victim was found nearby and transported to a local hospital. Officers said they discovered a third victim who took themselves to the hospital. Both victims are expected to survive, according to SPD
No arrests have been made and the circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.
