Small NE Ohio village sells winning Powerball ticket

EAST CANTON, Ohio (WJW) – One of Northeast Ohio’s small villages could be the home to a local Powerball winner. At least, that’s where Ohio Lottery officials report a Powerball ticket worth $150,000 was purchased.

According to Ohio Lottery documents, the ticket sold ahead of the Wednesday, Jan. 29 drawing matched four out of five numbers plus the ‘Powerball’ to win $50,000. The lucky ticket also matched the game’s ‘Power Play’ to triple the winnings to $150,000.
