Nearly 21 years after its original release on Xbox and PS2, the classic 2D fighting game SNK vs. Capcom SVC Chaos is returning with an enhanced remaster for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, launching February 11. This is an exciting release for fighting games fans, allowing players to enjoy the cult-classic release on modern consoles with HD presentation and full online co-op featuring roll-back net code. While SNK vs. Capcom SVC Chaos will give players a way to experience SNK’s unique approach to fighting games, it’s not the only new SNK release coming soon. The studio is resurrecting one of its most iconic fighting game series with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launching on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 24. This is the first new Fatal Fury game in 26 years, and it looks to be incorporating classic Fatal Fury gameplay with modernized options and presentation, including full 3D graphics, the ability to swap between classic “Arcade” and streamlined “Smart Style” control layouts, and an RPG mode where players explore South Town, earn XP in battles, and customize their character. Preorders are available now, with a $60 Special Edition available for PS5, PS4, And Xbox Series X, and an $80 PS5-exclsuive Deluxe Edition.
