Sparking Zero Mod Unleashes the Only Character Who Can Truly Haunt Any Version Of Goku

Bandai Namco’s latest video game, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, has debuted to an incredible player base. It’s been reviewed well and sold even better, hooking gamers with its return to Budokai Tenkaichi’s iconic Dragon Ball gameplay, hidden interactions, and bonus content. The game has done a remarkable job of living up to its legacy so far.

Sparking Zero has been out for more than a week, and mods have already started pouring in. Players are already changing their appearances and improving the game’s performance. However, one mod takes things to the next level by bringing in Goku’s worst fear as a playable character, Chi-Chi!

Sparking Zero Mod Adds Goku’s Worst Nightmare As a Fighter

It’s said that behind every great man, there is a woman, and well, that can said to be sexist; it’s definitely true for Goku and Chi-Chi in Dragon Ball. While our favorite Saiyan has trained hard and fought to save the world multiple times, Chi-Chi has always been there to keep him grounded and make sure their sons grow up to become even better.

Throughout the entirety of the franchise, she’s always been supportive of Goku. However, she’s also been his biggest nightmare at times, as she always yells at him for being a neglectful husband and father.

After the release of Sparking Zero, gamers couldn’t help but wonder why Goku’s biggest fear would be left out of the game. However, some modders have taken it upon themselves and brought her into game.

One might think that Chi-Chi simply can’t compete against other fighters in Sparking Zero, but that’s not the case. She is a skilled martial artist and trained under her father, the Ox-King. In the series, she even participated in the World Martial Arts Tournament. We’ve seen her so many times sending Goku flying simply by touching him!

It’s great to see that modders are bringing such iconic characters to the game. Let’s hope Bandai Namco takes notice of this and brings Chi-Chi as an official fighter in the game’s upcoming DLCs, giving her even more ability to compete against the strongest out there.

Sparking Zero Mod Upgrades Split-Screen Mode

If there’s one thing that gamers have bashed Sparking Zero for, it would be the title’s split-screen multiplayer mode. If you’ve forgotten, the original Budokai Tenkaichi trilogy allowed players to take on each other in local PvP in various destructible environments.

Sparking Zero was on the verge of removing this feature before the release because the development team was constantly running issues with Xbox Series S/X versions of the game.

Although the game does bring local-split screen multiplayer, it’s limited to one stage. However, one modder has already brought the much-needed fix for the game’s PC version with DB Sparking Zero Minimalist Trainer Mod on Nexus Mods.

With this mod, players won’t be locked to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage while playing in split-screen mode. All the 24 stages will be ready to play when the mod is being used.

Players were split on the title’s multiplayer limitations when it was first revealed that one of the biggest appeals of the franchise won’t present in the game.

Many believe that developers needed to make split-screen multiplayer have the same parity across all versions due to issues with Xbox Series S/X, and ended up limiting features on other platforms that could support them.
