There are plenty of different ways a Dragon Ball fighter appears cool. For one moment, the user of a Ki blast may watch stunned as the opponent deflects it away with the use of a hand. This has been a common instance in the series where beams and clashes occur often.

Video game adaptations of the series throughout the years have made sure of its inclusion as one of the main features. Sparking Zero is the latest game to feature it. And as it has been the case now, Ki deflections look better in it.

That May Change the In-Game Experience for Good

Energy attacks always delivered more satisfaction than hand-to-hand combat, in the popular anime series. While it’s great to see what it can do to the one at the receiving end, it does push the viewers to the end of their seats when deflected.

After the beam clashes took center stage in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, it was time to discuss beam deflection. Some fans might have noticed a slight change in a clip where Vegeta is seen deflecting a Kamehameha wave sent towards him by Goku.

Looking at this, bouncing beams, or, as it is in this case, deflecting beams, certainly are something of a spectacle among the things Spike Chunsoft included in the game.

Ki Deflections Have a Range in the Dragon Ball Universe

Ki blasts have been exhibited by the characters during several instances in Dragon Ball universe. In Cooler’s Revenge, Goku’s triple Kamehameha Wave is deflected by Salza and Neiz. The former does this with Piccolo’s Chasing Bullet and Krillin’s Homing Energy Wave.

Misokatsun, one of the warriors created by Dr. Wheelo in The World’s Strongest, might possess the most hilarious way to do that. When Master Roshi tried attacking the bio-warrior, he simply held the Turtle Destruction Wave like a tennis ball stuck to the net before being bounced back.

It’s not just the supervillains doing the deeds. Goku knocked of one of Broly’s Eraser Cannons while sending the Legendary Super Saiyan into a lake. But that only made things worse as the ring controlling him is broken during the instance, leaving him like uncontrollable bull.
