Starfield mod support with Creations and new missions in the latest update
Amid the exciting announcements of the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, it may have been easy to miss, but Starfield has just received a significant update! This update brings an abundance of new content, including the highly anticipated Creation Kit and new missions, along with various fixes in the June 9th patch.
The introduction of the Creation Kit marks the official support for mods in Starfield, a feature that the community has been eagerly awaiting. This update has the potential to be a game-changer for the Bethesda game, as we’ve seen in the company’s previous titles, where user-created content continued to breathe new life into the games for years.
The Creations have just been released in Starfield today, and they offer a ton of new content, including quests, structural changes, and customizations. These Creations can range from new missions to equipment, skins, weapons, and much more. It’s exciting to note that users themselves have contributed many of these elements, and there are expected to be even more in the months to come.
Accessing Creations is easy – they’re available directly from the in-game menu. If you’re an owner of the Premium Edition of Starfield, you’ll receive 1,000 Creation Credits to spend right away. Additionally, the Starfield Creation Kit has been released on Steam, allowing users to directly create new content. This is quite surprising!
