Suspect wanted after attack at Hersheypark parking lot
HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM)– Derry Township Police are searching for a man who reportedly cut a man across the face with a sharp object in the parking lot of Hersheypark in broad daylight on Saturday.
According to the Derry Township Police Department, the victim and his family arrived at their vehicle to find an individual rummaging through their back seat. Police said the victim confronted the thief, who proceeded to turn and slash him across the face with a sharp object.
Police initially reported that the attack was carried out with a knife, but after re-interviewing the victims of the crime, it was determined that the suspect had cut the victim with a sharp object.
It is important to note that the cut on the victim’s face was minor and they were treated on scene and then released.

The suspect fled the scene with the victim’s credit card, which he later used at a Target in Bensalem, Pa., according to Police.
Police are describing the suspect as a white, brown curly-haired man with a skin condition similar to a burn or vitiligo covering his face. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and grey Under Armour sweatpants at the time of the incident.
