Team Fortress 2 Bots Have Gotten Smarter, and Fans Are Getting Angrier as Valve Continue to Ignore It

It’s been nearly two decades since the launch of Valve’s genre-defining title, Team Fortress 2. However, the game still manages to absolutely dominate a chunk of discussion in the modern gaming landscape. The game’s balanced classes, classic art style, and offbeat humor make it one of the best FPS experiences on the market right now.

Although it’s an incredible title to play, fans have long been complaining about the game’s bot problems, which have rendered most of the lobbies outright unplayable. While Valve has acknowledged the problem in the past, their lack of efforts to fix the problem is showing up once again as cheaters have found ways to make the bots even more advanced than ever before.

Team Fortress 2 Bot Problem Gets Worse As Valve Stays Silent

There’s nothing worse than going against cheaters in online games. For gamers, it sucks to get absolutely decimated every time you peek by someone using an aimbot. While developers such as Riot and Take-Two are starting to take legal action against cheat developers, Valve simply doesn’t care.

Cheaters and bots have been a long issue in Team Fortress 2. Despite efforts to counter them, bots are always one step ahead of the company’s strategy.

NEW BOTS SPOTTED IN HT!! THEY DONT PICK A CLASS SO WE CANT KICK THEM!

Modders have developed a brand-new type of bot that can’t be kicked from matches. They are specifically coded to not select any classes, which makes it impossible for players in the match to get rid of them in any possible way.

In a true Valve fashion, they haven’t responded to the situation, which makes it unlikely that we’ll ever receive an official fix. However, the community has already taken matters into their own hands and found a solution for kicking these special bots out of their matches.

The Team Fortress 2 bots issue is a frustrating one, but it wasn’t this bad previously. There’s a reason why the game is still one of the highest-rated PC titles of all time.

It’s an excellent team-based shooter that anyone can hop on and have fun with their friends and family. It’s just a shame that a handful of the player base has stolen that fun by ruining matches with bots and hacks.

Team Fortress 2’s Funko Fusion Crossover Is Controversial

Despite the game receiving a lot of backlash for the lack of content it has been given in the last decade, recently, it was revealed that a collaboration is all set to happen between the hero-shooter and the upcoming Funko Fusion.

This unusual crossover will see some of the iconic classes of hero-shooter be playable in Funko Fusion, which is all set to release on September 13.

While this would be positive news under normal circumstances, the massive problems that the game has been facing for years and Valve’s lack of support have made the crossover a point of criticism.

One of the major problems around the crossover is the lack of original content for shooter. Seriously, it’s been close to seven years since the title received a major update.

The lack of content is made ten times worse by the cheating and botting issues of the game. Let’s hope the developers finally wakes up and fixes the problem before we reach the point of no return.

Have you encountered these bots in your games? If so, let us know in the comments.
