The First Descendant Fans are Turning to Rare Gamer Habits to Survive the Grind

The First Descendant players have been coming up with various coping mechanisms to deal with the many issues of the game. From reaching out to the community to vent their frustration to pleading with the developers to fix the issues, they’ve run the gamut of possibilities.

Now, even though NEXON Games has implemented some changes, not everyone is happy with the fixes. But they are making the most of it by using the time allotted by the game to catch up on some physical fitness.

Gamers Grind a Different Way When Playing The First Descendant

People engaging in any sort of sedentary activity are always advised to take a break and get in some physical movement as well to keep the blood flowing. Now, The First Descendant has not done this explicitly, but some fans are urging their compatriots to make use of some cooldown times.

Reddit user Imaginary_Round_8287 is not completely happy with the reduced The First Descendant cooldown on Outposts. It was previously 5 minutes, which was a very long time, and since then, NEXON has reduced the cooldown to a minute. This can still feel like a lot to many, but this Redditor has suggested a constructive use of this time.

They suggest the player get up and do light bodyweight exercises. According to them, not only does this make the grind feel more manageable, but it also helps to bring the player closer, even if only marginally, towards healthier habits.

It should help to work through the frustration many have felt when they get teleported to the very Outpost they were attempting. Responses to the suggestion are surprised that there are useful suggestions in the forum.

One comment seems to agree that push-ups between sessions sound like a good idea too.

However, others have stated what they use that minute for, such as removing mods.

Gamers might need to take more time out to become truly healthy, but incorporating small changes like this can help improve small aspects of their posture and strength over time.

The weeks of complaints and feedback from fans have finally reached the developers. NEXON Games has announced it will bring changes to The First Descendant, such as improving the drop rate of certain items. The chances of you getting the gear you’re aiming for will increase the more you do a certain activity.

The new patch is also introducing a ton of new content, which should interest even the most casual player. Along with some new skins for characters, a new ultimate weapon and ultimate module are coming to the game. This should make missions more interesting.

While NEXON is listening to fans now and releasing updates for the game, there are still several performance issues that need to be fixed for the game to reach the peak concurrent players it achieved at launch.
