The Last of Us Fans Have Found a New Reason to Buy IPhone 16 After Bella Ramsey’s Latest Collaboration
The Last of Us is one of the most popular and renowned stories ever told in a video game and the gaming community is more than happy to send Naughty Dog bills from their therapy sessions. The games tackle deep human emotions and how they change a person after traumatic events, and the game developers believed it is a story worth retelling in a different format to appeal to a much larger audience like television.
Director Neil Druckmann teamed up with Craig Mazin to bring the show to life and assembled a stellar cast. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey perfectly captured the nature of Joel and Ellie respectively, and Ramsey is currently busy promoting the newest Apple product amidst the filming of Season 2.
Bella Ramsey Found Their Newest Item of Choice in the Apocalypse Before The Last of Us Season 2
Translating a beloved piece of material to a different format can be daunting; however, Mazin trusted the talents of Pascal and Ramsey to convey the emotions the game already achieved and then some. Unfortunately, some fans of The Last of Us still cannot accept Bella Ramsey as Ellie Williams despite doing a fantastic job in the first season simply because of her physical appearance. Not everyone brought on board will look identical to their video game counterpart and doesn’t have to, especially if they can get the job done.
Despite the backlash, Ramsey kept her head up high amidst the second season’s production which will not cover the entirety of the controversial sequel. Mazin and Druckmann felt it would be beneficial to divide the story of Part 2 and cover it across multiple seasons allowing the story to breathe and give the audience time to acclimate. The longer the HBO team can stretch the story the better, and it will encourage other companies and brands to reach out for promotion deals like Ramsey starring in the latest iPhone 16 advertisement.

Apple has always had an eye for constant improvement, and this year’s iPhone features Apple Intelligence. Ramsey is seen walking into a cafe to meet with someone until they realize they can’t recall their name and this is where Siri came in clutch and offered a much more sophisticated and personalized response. Apple Intelligence can get people out of awkward situations, and this promo only scratched the surface of the device’s hardware and software capabilities.
Unfortunately, the iPhone couldn’t save Ellie in a world overgrown by fungus spores that infected most of the population. Perhaps Siri could have guided Joel and Ellie towards a haven rather than encountering hungry cannibals in Kansas City. The live-action universe of The Last of Us didn’t have the privilege of experiencing the power and convenience of the iPhone since the Outbreak occurred in 2003, and the survivors had to get creative and make do with the technology they had at their disposal.
The Last of Us Season 2 Will Pave the Way for More Seasons and External Deals
Mazin is a fan of the source material and will avoid making the same mistake other adaptations made that were poorly received. Rather than taking the story on a much more ambitious and riskier route, Mazin will stick to the established path with a few creative changes he and the writers can make throughout the seasons to stand apart from the video game counterparts.
Ramsey and Pascal dealt with the unfortunate hand of handling fans who were too protective of the source material that shrouded their judgment. Even the original cast was impressed by what these talented actors have brought to the table. Troy Baker wishes he could return and use some of Pascal’s work in his performance, and Bella Ramsey received the approval from Ashley Johnson.
Apple is not stopping with more technological innovations soon and will need stars in their commercial. Ramsey will likely be the new lead of the upcoming season of what is arguably the greatest video game adaptation to date, and these opportunities will come in droves in future seasons.
HBO was fortunate to have a stellar cast in its live-action adaptation of The Last of Us that could rival the original versions. Hopefully, the gaming community will learn to accept these actors for their talent and avoid judging them by their looks and physical appearance.
