The Most Advertised Feature of Black Ops 6 Becomes its Doom, Divides Fans

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has just been released. After completing the promising Modern Warfare trilogy, Activision is now looking to revive its Black Ops series. The last game in the series, Black Ops Cold War, didn’t get a proper reception from the fans, which is why all the honors lay on the shoulders of the recently launched title.

Treyarch also left no stone unturned to make this game unique. That is why the game features an overhaul of movement mechanics. However, things didn’t go as they were supposed to, and this new movement mechanics is now the most hated part of the game right now.

People Are Sick of the Omni-movement in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been criticized right now because of certain aspects. One of them is movement mechanics. Treyarch has literally changed the movement scheme of the whole Call of Duty as the development company has introduced overhauled movement mechanics in Black Ops 6.

To put it in simple words, the new movement mechanics are called Omni-movement and you can slide in any direction you want. Fans have stated that previously people had fun playing Call of Duty without the presence of Omni-movement. Nowadays, it seems players are covering half of the map in a single slide.

Remember when people had fun in this game smh

This fan thinks even the Jetpacks from Advanced Warfare were not this ridiculous as the Omni-movement. Even, the slides in Modern Wafare 2 & 3 felt absolutely normal.

This fan has given us a strange way to die, because of the Omni-movement.

This fan has reminded us about the older COD days when the game used to have Tac-sprint instead of Omni-movement.

On the other hand, this fan thinks this is not the first time when the movement mechanics ruined a COD title.

This fan has perfectly summed up, how BO6 feels like.

The developers were pretty hopeful about this movement and thought it would redefine the franchise. However, it seems people are leaving the franchise because of its over-exaggerative slides. Not only that, enemies have become so unpredictable with this unreal pace that even map knowledge is negligible in this game.

One Major Aspect of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is Facing Huge Backlash, and That Is Not Movement

Recently, a dedicated fan shared his frustration on Reddit regarding all the flaws of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. In this post, he talked about the issues regarding the BO6 maps, gun levels, new movement mechanics, perks, SBMM, and many more.

Honeymoon period is over. This game has some crucial flaws

However, more than the criticisms regarding the maps and Omni-movement, the community is disgusted with the TTK/TTD of the game. Now, what is that? TTK, time to kill, is the amount of time it takes from when you first hit your enemies until they die. TTD, time to death, is the time from when you start to take damage until you die.

According to a player, both TTK and TTD are hugely inconsistent in the game. For example, in one match, you can survive after taking hoards of bullets. On the other hand, in another match, you die instantly after just a couple of shots, but the enemy is not dying even after taking the whole magazine. Even the TTD is so bad that the enemy has an ample amount of time to turn around and kill you.
