The Most Baseless Black Ops 6 Criticism Stems from Modern Warfare 2019
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now finally released. As the Modern Warfare trilogy is done and dusted, it was now time for Treyarch to pick COD up from where it was left off in Black Ops Cold War. As the previous Black Ops title was not highly acclaimed by the fans, honors will be on the shoulders of BO6.
The game has already started showing signs of redefining the Black Ops franchise and taking it to the same heights as the Modern Warfare series. The recently launched game has featured overhauled movement mechanics along with 16 brand-new maps. However, fans didn’t like either of them, and all this hate started arising from Modern Warfare 2019.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Maps Are Facing Heavy Backlash Which Blasted Modern Warfare (2019) As Well
Right now, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 maps are heavily criticized for their brand new 16 launch maps. However, it seems the seed of this hate was sown way back in 2019 when Modern Warfare was released.
Recently, a fan on Twitter claimed that maps in the 2019 COD titles were worse than those of BO6, like Azhir Cave, Piccadilly, Deadzone, Pterograd, and many more. Modern Warfare featured a total of 20 maps, out of which 3 were Ground-War maps and 7 and 10 were Gunfight and normal maps, respectively.
But a fan has opposed this opinion and stated that people have utter biases towards MW2019.
The bias that people have towards MW2019 must be studied. People treat that game like it was the best shit we’ve had these past 5 years. 🤣😂🤣

As per him, it’s time people started implementing the same impressions of the 2019 titles to every COD title released after that.
Another fan also stated that Piccadilly was really good.
piccadilly was good idc what anyone says

This fan also thinks MW maps were way better than BO6 maps.
All of those maps were better than the current lmfao. You’re high

On the other hand, the fan thinks the Skill-Base Match Making system is the worst in BO6, not the maps.

However, the fan got one supporter for his claims.
Ghosts and MW2019 have the worst launch maps by far

Actually, the main reason for this unreal hate toward the BO6 maps is that Treyarch didn’t implement any measures to stop camping. So, it’s pretty hard for the players to survive in the battle royale. Also, with the presence of Omni-movement, you don’t know when you are going to get slammed by those irritating campers.
Are Maps Really a Problem in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
Map experience in any game is an essential component for success. The more you have in-depth knowledge about the map you are playing in, the more you have an edge over the loopholes and chokepoints. However, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, that is not the case.
Maps aren’t the problem, the movement is

A fan on Reddit has vented out his frustration about the Omni-movement feature in the game. If you know the spawn points in the maps, you can predict the probable position of the enemies so that you can pick an angle to secure that. But with the presence of Omni-movement, players can be anywhere now.
With the new movement mechanics, players have become ultra-fast and can change their locations in the blink of an eye, that too in longer distances. Also, in previous Call of Duty titles, you could dictate the potential timing of enemy engagement.
But as players are now fast, you might have to face random fights with your enemies. As per the fan, the new game is all about “mindless running around, and you just have to expect to get slide cancel bunny hop peeked around every corner.”
