The Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror Comic Omnibuses Are Up To 50% Off At Amazon
Treehouse of Horror has become a long-standing tradition across the long history of The Simpsons, but some of the best horror-comedy tales starring Springfield’s favorite family haven’t been seen on TV. The Simpsons comic books have done a great job capturing the nightmarish energy of these special episodes, and you can read through them yourself with these discounted omnibus editions. Amazon has discounted these chunky hardcover collections of stories, dropping the price on these “Ominous Omnibus” editions by a perfectly cromulent number.
The discount on Volume 3 isn’t nearly as substantial because it was published in August, just in time for spooky season. Each hardcover omnibus is over 400 pages in size, so you’re getting a lot of reading material here, and many of the stories were created by some of the best talent in the comic book industry, like Sergio Aragones, Michael Allred, and Kyle Baker.
If you’re a big fan of Treehouse of Horror episodes, one other collectible you have to get is this replica of the Killer Krusty Doll. First appearing in Treehouse of Horror 3, you might remember the doll for its repeated attempts to murder Homer, before it was finally fixed. This replica looks just like the original homicidal collectible, and it even features a pull string if you want to hear him talk. A word of warning: the doll is set to “Evil” so you’ll want to flick the switch back to “Good” before you pop some batteries in.
For more Treehouse of Horror collectibles, check out Funko’s new 13-day Treehouse of Horror countdown calendar for Halloween. This $37 set includes 13 miniature Pop figures from the Treehouse of Horror episodes.
Jakks Pacific also has a new Simpsons advent calendar geared toward Christmas. It comes with 24 collectibles that can be used to decorate a replica of the family’s living room. Other cute collectibles include a diorama model of the iconic Simpsons living room, action figures of the family, and even a replica rotary-dial phone that can be used to crank call Moe’s Tavern. You can ask if Hugh Jazz is there.

Back to Simpsons comic books, there are also several “Colossal Compendiums” available for $13-$15 each. These are normally $19 each, so this is a small discount but one that adds up if you buy in bulk. The cool thing about these trades is that they come with paper models for several of Springfield’s most-iconic locations, allowing you to build a cool diorama version of the city with each graphic novel you collect.
Once you’ve got the full set, you can even stomp on them after you successfully reveal your plan to block your oldest enemy–the Sun–from providing free solar power to the city, thus forcing the town to use nuclear power instead.
