“Thanks to some amazing people I got the chance to watch The Wild Robot with my younger brother who has downs syndrome and he loved every second of the movie, he got so sucked in at times that he forgot to eat the popcorn he was holding in his hands and when we were walking out of the cinema his words to me were “Such an awesome movie!” and then proceeded to ask a multitude of questions about the characters and when will he get to watch it again.

Each character in the film evolves beautifully, becoming distinct and relatable. Their journeys of conquering fears and overcoming shortcomings are portrayed with such authenticity that it’s easy to connect with and root for them. By the end, you’ll find yourself loving each character for their unique strengths and growth, and I am not going to lie you might end up shedding a tear or two.

The music in the film is exceptionally well done, enhancing the atmosphere and emotional depth of each scene and the characters within. Coupled with the amazing art direction, which brings the characters and their world to life with stunning visuals, it balances the characters so well that it gives them those human qualities that makes them so relatable and likable.
