Todd Howard’s 1 Rule for Fallout Show May Have Accidentally Changed the Entire Script

Amazon Prime’s Fallout series will debut very soon, and fans are no doubt very excited. After all, the series looks pretty incredible; its characters feel straight out of the Fallout franchise, and the music feels pretty accurate as well. Furthermore, the actors they have chosen also seem to have portrayed their characters pretty brilliantly, especially Walton Goggins as a wasteland-dwelling ghoul.

This is mostly what fans noticed in this series’ recently launched trailer. There’s no doubt there’s much more to this series that fans have not seen yet. But one thing is for sure: when the Fallout series launches on Amazon Prime in April, fans will miss out on some small details that were intentionally kept out of it.

In 2008, fans of the Fallout games got something incredible. It was the 3D iteration of their favorite wasteland RPG series. When Zenimax acquired this franchise, Bethesda started developing a new game based on it. They named it Fallout 3, and it was excellent.

There were a number of reasons for that series to get all that love; for one, its shift from an isometric overhead view to full third-person 3D was a revolution to many. Fans were blown away by the detailed world that Bethesda had put in front of them.

Exploration in that game was another thing that was just brilliant. Players could explore every corner of that map and find something to interact with. In short, Bethesda literally gave the Fallout series a brand-new direction with its third installment.

Eventually, Fallout New Vegas came, which is considered to be the best Fallout game yet by many of the fans. And then it all came down to Fallout 4, which launched back in 2015. Fallout 4 is a very good game that was made even better with its expansions.

Then came the announcement for the Amazon series. Fans were hyped, and everyone else was curious. When it was announced that this show would be run by none other than Johnathan Nolan, the hype increased tenfold. Then came the above-mentioned brilliant cast of characters and actors who played those characters.

And now that the series is less than a month away from launch, a very interesting detail has come out. It is interesting because it comes from the director of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games, Todd Howard. He suggests that he directed the creators to exclude some things from the series just so he could bring them to Fallout 5.

“Well, there were some things where I said, ‘Don’t do this because we are going to do that in Fallout 5.”

It sounds like Todd Howard is going to bring some revolutionary changes to Fallout 5. Maybe they want to add some new gameplay mechanics that were hinted at in the series.

Or maybe they wanted to show some weapons and equipment that would be introduced in the next installment of the series of video games. And it looks like the series creators complied. Still, the series is looking good enough.

What is to come next from Bethesda?

Everyone knows that Bethesda’s last game, Starfield, was not what fans were expecting it to be. It was still a decent enough success. This raises one question: now that Starfield is out of the way, what’s next for Bethesda?

Some say it’s Elder Scrolls 6, while others say it’s Fallout 5, but if it’s not Fallout 6, why was Todd Howard so worried about the show showing some elements? Maybe it was coming before Elder Scrolls 6, hence this happened.
