Two Enemies Need to Be Added to Space Marine 2 Immediately, as Fans Want ‘Intense Missions’ That Only They Can Provide

Ahead of the Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 release, Saber Interactive has unveiled a one-year roadmap for the game. A move appreciated by the fans, the roadmap has given players insight into missions, new modes, and enemies they will get to face.

As is often the case with roadmap reveals, enthusiasts have seized the opportunity to dissect the content and speculate about future updates. Apart from all the details, one intriguing aspect of the roadmap is the potential inclusion of two new enemies.

Space Marine 2 Needs to Include Two Species From the Lore

According to the roadmap, season 1 of Space Marine 2 will kick off sometime in September. It has been confirmed that the first season update will be free and will introduce Battle Barge Sparring arenas and PvE lobbies to the game.

The roadmap also confirmed that we will get to see new enemies in the future, which could very well be linked to the game’s PVE content. According to Reddit user u/BenAffleck06969, adding Eldar or T’au from the Warhammer 40K universe as potential villains will really up the ante.

Eldar is an ancient species of humanoid xenos, whereas T’au is a young race that is technologically oriented. Both of these species have non-imperial ideologies and would make for great enemies. Furthermore, their inclusion would add to the overall appeal of the game and give players a run for their money.

Another user mentioned that they will likely be at the game at some point, but instead of being part of a season, Saber Interactive might add them as part of a DLC. Whatever the case may be, players generally want to see tough challenges, and adding a Co-op PVE lobby featuring these two could be part of the end-game content.

Saber Interactive Is Going All Out With Space Marine 2

Post-launch, the Space Marine 2 will have different seasons, and with each season, new content will be added to the game. Saber Interactive has confirmed that anything content-related will be mostly free, and microtransactions will only be for cosmetics.

Season 2 of the game will begin at the end of the year, introducing a new enemy, weapon, PvE missions, and Lethal difficulty. Moving forward, season 3 will be the biggest update we will get till that point and will roll around sometime in 2025.

Much like the other seasons, we will get new enemies with season 3, along with a plethora of changes, which include Battle Barge expansion, PvE Prestige rank, and new PvP arenas. Not much is known about season 4, but it will bring the Horde mode to the game.
