US election: Donald Trump speaks at campaign HQ in Palm Beach, Florida
Former President Donald Trump has addressed jubilant supporters at his campaign HQ in Palm Beach, praising the “greatest political movement of all time” and promising to help the country “heal”.
“We’re going to fix everything, we’re going to fix our borders,” he said.
“I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected your 47th President. And your 45th President.
“(To) every citizen I will fight for you, for your family, and your future.”
He walked onstage to the sounds of God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood.

The speech comes as Mr Trump was projected to win at least two of the seven crucial swing states needed to claim the presidency.
The former president has won North Carolina, where 92 per cent of the vote has been counted. CNN has also called Georgia for Trump, with more than 95 per cent of votes counted.
Trump is also ahead in the other swing states — Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona and Wisconsin, while the vote count is yet to start in Nevada.
Earlier, Trump said he was confident after his final efforts in the must-win state of North Carolina, which offers 16 electoral college votes.
Barack Obama secured the state in 2008 but ever since, Republicans have taken a narrow lead in every election.
In Pennsylvania, where 19 college votes are at stake, the count is on a knife edge with Trump ahead with 51 per cent of the vote.
He has already told a US radio station if he wins Pennsylvania, he wins “the whole deal”.

The former president called into US radio presenter Rich Zeoli to declare if he wins Pennsylvania, he wins “the whole deal”.
He also urged Republicans to “stay in line”.
“We’re going to make this country greater than ever before, but you have to stay in line,” he said, according to CNN.
“And don’t let them slow ball you. You have an absolute legal right and get that vote in because if we win Pennsylvania, if we win the good old Commonwealth, we’re going to win the whole thing. We win everything.”
