Valorant Noobs Identify 1 Issue with New Players Joining the Chaos that Riot Need to Remedy

Valorant‘s popularity is increasing day by day. This 5v5 shooter has been amassing a huge fanbase since its launch in 2020. With its intricate map settings, captivating team-based tactical gameplay, and diverse agent roster, this game has become everyone’s favorite.

Now, this game looks fun from a distance, but as you enter the arena, you get to realize how hard the game is to master. It takes intense resilience and accuracy to ace this game. And that’s why newcomers will find it pretty hard to get the knack of it.

Valorant Is Pretty Difficult for New Players

It takes years of practice and dedication to become skilled in a game like Valorant. So, it’s obvious that new players are going to find the game a bit hard at the very beginning. And the game’s initial process to unlock the ranked mode is a bit tricky as well. A new player of the game has shared his frustration about how difficult it is to even unlock the ranked mode.

Is Riot aware of new players ?

In Valorant, you have to reach level 20 to unlock ranked mode. Till then, the best bets for you are Unrated, Spike Rush, and other game modes. However, the fan has stated that these normal game modes are hugely unbalanced. In ranked matches, you get queued up with players who are of similar ranks (almost similar capabilities).

But as per the fan, sometimes a single player in a team comes up to be the most skilled one, soloing the whole match. On the other hand, sometimes the whole team is better than the players, which makes it impossible to play the game. However, console players are facing difficulties as well in playing the game.

Riot Should Bring a Proper Fix

In a wider sense, these normal game modes are somewhat warm-up grounds for ranked players. So, for newbies, finding players of their level in these modes is quite impossible. In ranked matches, you get matched up according to your tiers. But in these game modes, there’s no such parameter to sort players out.

It’s true that players will get to learn a lot about the pro players in these matches, but sometimes it kills all the fun to sit and watch the whole show run by high ELO players. Also, these kinds of scenarios might discourage new players, leading them to leave the game due to inferiority complexes.

That’s why Riot should also start queueing up people according to their levels, or perhaps the company should introduce a new parameter to match people of the same skillset in games like Unrated or Spike Rush. In this way, players will also learn the basic fundamentals of the game and gain confidence as well.
