Vampire Survivors is getting Castlevania DLC later this month

Vampire Survivors is getting DLC based on Castlevania.

The pack, which will be called Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania, is set to release on October 31 on PC, Switch, Xbox, PS5, PS4 and mobile, and will cost $3.99 / €3.99 / £2.99.

According to developer Poncle, Ode to Castlevania will be the biggest Vampire Survivors DLC pack yet, and will feature “an absolutely stupidly gigantic amount of content”.

This will include more than 20 new characters including the Belmonts, Belnades and other heroes from the series.

There will more then 40 new weapons, including eight whips, various spoells, magic weapons, projectiles and glyphs.

A new stage, described as “the largest map Vampire Survivors has ever seen” will also be included, as will more than 30 new music tracks including remixes and original tracks from the Castlevania series.

“The Vampire Survivors gang have come a long way in their honourable hunt, and have now joined forces with the Belmont Family,” the DLC’s description reads.

“The sun has set on Dracula’s iconic castle once more, and as the moon rises a hellish horde of murky Mudmen, ghastly ghosts, and frightening Fleamen take the stage as the battle of good and evil rages under the moonlight.

“Unleash an arsenal of new Vampire-vanquishing weapons upon these beasts and leave a trail of doom in your wake on your quest to rid the world of the unspeakable terror. Do not be blind to the shadow that looms over you, Survivors, as your quest has only just begun.

“It’s all very serious stuff, so now let’s pump up the volume and let’s go, this is Castlevania in Vampire Survivors, you haven’t survived anything yet.”
