Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the S & P 500 and Nasdaq Composite bounced on Tuesday, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Tesla Elon Musk’s company reports Wednesday after the bell. CNBC TV’s Phil LeBeau will have all the details and the stock’s reaction. Tesla is up 51% over the past three months. Shares have gained 58% since Donald Trump was elected president. Shares are still 18.5% from the high hit in mid-December. CNBC contributor and Elon Musk biographer Walter Isaacson spoke Tuesday on ” Closing Bell: Overtime ” with Morgan Brennan and Jon Fortt. “I think maybe with all the questions about ‘are you still tending to Tesla’ – it will probably be a smart idea to be on the earnings call,” he said. “The big thing for Tesla in my mind is they have developed robotaxi, autonomous vehicles, that aren’t quite ready in terms of regulations. TSLA 3M mountain Tesla shares in the past three months Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol will be on CNBC TV in our 9 a.m. hour, Eastern. The coffee chain beat earnings and revenue expectations in its latest quarter, but missed on same-store sales. The stock wasn’t percolating after the bell, fairly flat. Starbucks is up 10% since Niccol took over in September. It is up 30% since it was announced that he’d take over in August. The Federal Reserve at 2 p.m. Wednesday CNBC will have the Fed decision live at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Chair Jerome Powell will speak at 2:30 p.m. His comments often move the market, and we will feature them live. Going into the decision, the 10-year Treasury note is yielding 4.52%. The two-year Treasury is yielding 4.19%. The yield on the one-year Treasury bill is at 4.15%. The six-month T-bill is 4.29%. The three-month T-bill yields 4.32%. The one-month T-bill yield is 4.35%. The iShares iBoxx High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG) has a dividend of 5.92% as of Tuesday night. The SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF (JNK) has a dividend of 6.53%. The iShares 0-5 Year High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (SHYG) has a dividend of 6.83%. The Fidelity Corporate Bond ETF (FCOR) has a dividend of 4.33%. US10Y 1Y mountain The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield over the past year Microsoft The software giant reports after the bell Wednesday. The stock is up 4.8% over the past three months. Microsoft is 4.5% from the summer high. The SPDR S & P Software & Services ETF (XSW) is up 17% in three months. In the last three months, Microsoft ranks 110th out of 160 components in that ETF.
