What’s the richest city in Tennessee? It may be closer than you think
While Tennessee is not a state known for its extreme wealth, there are parts of the state that are known for wealth.
A recent analysis from Stacker, an online media content organization, determined the wealthiest city in each state using data from the Census Bureau American Community Survey Five-Year Data. The analysis breaks the data down into median household income and median earnings among other categories. As the bureau’s statistics don’t show specific incomes or earnings beyond $250,000, the earnings are designated as $250,000 and over.
