With So Many Broken Features, Call of Duty’s Warzone Integration with Black Ops 6 is Probably Raven Software’s Most Flawed Execution

On November 14th, Call of Duty: Warzone got integrated with Activision’s latest Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. With this integration, Warzone got many new mechanics and features from Black Ops 6, including the brand new omnimovement. While this integration seems like a good idea, it’s not the best for hardcore Warzone players. The recent integration is an absolute mess as players have complained about performance, audio, and gameplay issues.

As compared to the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone integration, the game has become a lot worse. Some players even claimed that the Black Ops 6 multiplayer feels much better than Warzone. Raven Software and Infinity Ward need to address all the issues in future updates to make the game playable.

Call of Duty: Warzone Integration With Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Has A Lot Of Issues

Call of Duty: Warzone fans have shared on social media that Warzone‘s integration with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has ruined the game. Many online posts claim that many gameplay and technical issues emerged after it was integrated with the latest Black Ops installment on November 14th.

Gamers across all platforms, particularly PC players, are facing frame rate drops as large as 30-40%, something that can instantly ruin the game. On top of this, many players have reported that the game now has an audio issue as some players are not able to hear footsteps, another issue that can completely ruin the gaming experience in a PvP game. As compared to previous integrations of Warzone with other Call of Duty games, it’s safe to say that this was the worst one as gameplay issues are one thing that players just can’t forgive.

Perks Were Also Removed From Call of Duty: Warzone

This integration brings the omnimovement system as well as the classic Prestige progression system to Warzone for the first time, but the execution was just terrible. Instead of adding new things, the studios decided to remove some. It has been reported that many of the default Perks have been removed from the game, which has made the overall in-game movement sluggish. Since the integration, players have been using dedicated perks.

Not just Warzone but Black Ops 6 itself is also under fire for its multiplayer experience. The campaign is exceptional, however, the multiplayer maps aren’t exactly the best. The game clearly has a map issue, but that should be resolved throughout season 1 as new maps have been confirmed to roll out soon.

Microsoft’s decision to release the game on Xbox Game Pass on day one proved to be a powerful move as Black Ops 6 is one of the most popular games in the world right now and is only expected to perform better in the future.
