Hidetaka Miyazaki’s one risky gamble will either shatter him or make him the best director in the entire world. This is a leap that he would have to take if he wants to see himself as the best developer out there in current times. If he puts his mind to it, he can beat Black Myth: Wukong.

However, it will not be an easy journey since doing so would require never-before-seen effort and planning. There is a reason it is being called a gamble, but Miyazaki is not someone who would go gentle into that goodnight’s sleep.

A big question has seen the light of day regarding Hidetaka Miyazaki’s next adventures. The next big thing coming from FromSoftware has to be an Elden Ring and Bloodborne sequel. Although Miyazaki is good at handling multiple games at the same time, these two are finally going to decide the fate of FromSoftware.

Miyazaki is known for juggling between two projects. He was directing Skerio and Déraciné at the same time. He can do it. But still, it’s Elden Ring and Bloodborne we are talking about here. These games have the potential to destroy Black Myth: Wukong, but on the other hand, they can fail miserably as well.

Nevertheless, it is fair to say that people do have a lot of faith in him to turn this into a reality and become immortal in the lore of video game development. When this endeavor sees the light of day is still not certain, but it should not be that long before we see the games being announced.

Elden Ring is one of the finest games by FromSoftware under the command of Miyazaki. The game pushes the boundaries of game development to another level. There is also a lot of pressure on him to meet the expectations of the fans.

The Gamble Might Just Be Worth It

It will be a huge leap for him to take. It is not an easy task to direct and supervise two huge games like Elden Ring and Bloodborne together. Both games will require his 100 percent, and if he fails to do so, then there will be a huge price to pay since it would be heartbreaking to see him fail after coming so close to perfecting it.

There is a high chance that he might just go through with it with ease, and we get 2 amazing sequels. Miyazaki is not new to this way of working and will surely find a way to make this work too.

However, this make-break moment is going to be the cause for anxiety for a lot of people working on the games, especially the boss man himself, who will not even get the opportunity to share his moments of doubt with his team to keep their morale up.
