Wukong With One Little Secret

Black Myth: Wukong has been released for the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms for the past few weeks and the gaming community wasted no time to finish the main story within the first few days. The game is renowned for having a complex and complicated combat system akin to the Soulslike genre; however, the developers of Game Science found creative ways to stand out and offer a unique gaming experience. Players have encountered a great variety of enemies and diverse boss battles but there are ways to make the experience less harrowing and much more convenient.

Rare resources are scattered across the game and players can acquire them to improve the stats of the Destined One. With enough practice and improvements, one boss fight can be easily defeated without taking a single hit.

Black Myth: Wukong Players Discovered the Most Efficient Way to Defeat Elder Jinchi

The gaming community is invested in the lore of Black Myth: Wukong and some players are not in a rush to advance to the next area after clearing everything standing in their path. Some players recently uncovered the truth behind the Mad Tiger in Chapter 2, and it was a tragic tale about friendship between the powerful boss and a young boy whom he is trying to resurrect. Had the Destined One not intervened, things could have ended differently.

Most players struggle against this kind of game where they must exert much effort to defeat a single boss. However, with enough time to explore and learn various abilities and farming enough resources, players found a way to spare themselves from a brutal beatdown against Elder Jinchi. This overgrown enemy is one of the earliest challenges to face the Destined One at the start of his journey which can be daunting for those who easily defeated foot soldiers.

How To Beat Elder Jinchi (No Hit) In Black Myth: Wukong

Players can defeat Elder Jinchi without breaking a sweat if they invest in 4 sparks of stamina, 12 sparks of force unbound, Ironbound resolve, and a few other abilities and equip the full Pilgrim’s Set paired with the Wandering Wight spirit. Once players unlock all of these, they can defeat this early boss without breaking a sweat. The Destined One can charge a heavy attack while holding down the heavy attack and sprint button to stagger Jinchi immediately followed by a flurry of light attacks.

Timing is key for this boss battle and players must be well-versed with the Destined One’s attacks and combo moves. Players can immobilize Jinchi with a spell for a short while to open a small window to land a few quick attacks and repeat the cycle until he is down for the count. It would be beneficial if players analyzed all of Jinchi’s attacks and learned the timing of when to avoid and counter certain attacks. The Destined One’s agility, paired with a flurry of heavy and light combo attacks, can beat Jinchi without sustaining damage.

Nothing is impossible and some players fail to realize that. Others would resort to external services to improve their Black Myth: Wukong experience which is not the best or most ideal way to play a game. The Destined One started from the bottom to collect all the relics to resurrect Sun Wukong and endured many difficult trials and hardships which is what the developers intended.

Players were intrigued by how cool and menacing the Destined One appeared without exerting much effort. This secret technique to beat Elder Jinchi is one way to assert dominance in the field and a positive example of what power stacking and building the perfect loadout can do in a game.

Elder Jinchi is an early boss fight that is nowhere near the brutality of succeeding boss battles. Defeating this boss without breaking a sweat or taking a hit can set a precedent and instill a positive mindset for the Destined One. Timing, speed, and power are all it takes to beat any boss.

Game Science designed a variety of skills and abilities for players to take full advantage of in their playthrough. It would be wise for the gaming community to learn everything about them before getting into a fight.
